Anchoring Monodispersed NiSe@Ni Particles on Graphene for Energy Storage in Supercapacitors

In this study, monodispersed NiSe@Ni particles were successfully anchored on graphene sheets by electroless nickel plating combined with a chemical-vapor-reaction process, in which the first deposited onto and subsequently transformed situ into at an elevated temperature. The obtained product showed unique multi-dimensional coupling structure, namely, (0 D) (2 D), enabled maximum synergy specific surface area, conductivity, electrochemical activity of NiSe, Ni, multi-phases. NiSe@Ni/graphene composite capacity 302 mAh g−1 current density 1 A potassium-hydroxide-electrolyte solution. Meanwhile, hybrid supercapacitor NiSe@Ni/graphene//AC exhibited high energy 68.0 Wh kg−1 803.0 W maintained 72.53% initial after 10,000 cycles 10 g−1.
